These short visual novels feature a cutesy art style and a vaguely fairytale-inspired plot. Each game is apparently unrelated to the others, and can be played as a standalone.
The Goldfish follows a winged thief protagonist and a wish-granting goldfish (who also has a human form). I found the story and characters incredibly charming, and was pleasantly surprised by the several event illustrations and changing main menu background.

Thumbelina has a scattered plot that includes meeting customers at a café and the possibility of stealing from a museum. Unlike its predecessors, this game was incredibly disappointing. Aside from the poor attempts at having a plot, the romance feels shallow and rushed, and none of the four love interests felt particularly interesting.

A short visual novel about a group of friends playing a tabletop roleplaying game, in the style of Dungeons and Dragons.
The art is cute, and the out-of-character moments are amusing. There are two love interests, and It is easy to tell which choices lead to each route. Likewise, the bad endings are easy to avoid and not at all depressing, since it’s a game within a game. Overall, it’s a very lighthearted, fun little story.

【 ♥ ♦ 】 One of my favorite otome games despite including a somewhat annoying gardening mini-game, this is a visual novel with stat-raising elements, though these are fairly easy and unlikely to hinder your chance at the best endings.
The art is nice and the storyline is simple - the protagonist is a college student meeting people in a small town when she gets a job for the holidays.
There are four love interests and they are all adorable in their own right; it’s rare for me to be unsure of who I’d pick as a favorite, but here we are! Most of all, I love how sweet and unpretentious the stories are, and how all the characters interact with each other.

【 ✘ 】 I played this visual novel a long time ago, so I admittedly do not have the best memory of it. It has a dark fantasy plot and several love interests.
The art was not great, but the characters were interesting. Although I was impressed by the amount of content regarding storylines and endings, what stayed with me was that it was overly grim and depressing; specifically, the tragic “true ending” felt unnecessary and restrictive, and made me dislike the game.

【 ♥ ♦ 】 This is a visual novel featuring a powerful protagonist, mysterious powers, and interdimensional horrors wishing to destroy the world. The art looks great overall and there are a lot of event illustrations, along with many smaller chibi scenes.
The protagonist is confident and I loved her tendency to fluster the love interests instead of the other way around. There are three male love interests and a female one; I found Tamaki and Arashi’s routes to be great, while Yoshiro’s didn’t seem to fit the game as well as the others. I did not play Yuki’s story (yuri route), so I have no opinion on it.
The plot was engaging and surprising without taking away from the romance. I definitely appreciated its original themes. There is also an affection meter so it isn’t difficult to achieve good ends.
Although I am unsure if the epilogues are meant to hint at an upcoming sequel, I'd certainly be happy to see it.

A visual novel set in a magical university, where the student protagonist must deal with the consequences of her best friend’s awkward prediction in a Clairvoyance class. There are two love interests, each with their own ending and epilogue, and a neutral ending.
The characters and relationship dynamics are quite interesting, and the writing style is amusing. I could genuinely appreciate the protagonist, both love interests, the best friend, and the background characters. It has great pacing, not being too long a game but not rushing the story; the art is also good quality, despite the disappointing lack of event illustrations.

This is a series of life-simulation games that include relationship building and romance elements. The plots are always centered around revitalizing an old farm and the land around it. Gameplay-wise, they include a lot of different mechanics, for actions such as growing plants, taking care of cattle, buying and selling things, mining, cooking, fishing, and befriending the locals
The art style can vary a little between games but it’s always very stylized and cute. The plots are also very similar, with a light fantasy element, in the form of harvest spirits the player character must help in restoring the town. This player character can be male or female, and each game will have different NPCs that can be romanced, up to the point of marriage and having children.
The lack of variation between games can cause loss of interest after playing a few titles, while their best points are the amount of content, wholesome atmosphere and lovable characters.

【 ♦ 】 This is a pastry-themed visual novel with a baker protagonist and three love interests. The story is set in a fantasy world where sweets and pastries are of extreme importance, and the protagonist only has a few days to bake a special cake for her town’s main event.
The art and setting are very cute with a colorful aesthetic, and there are many pastry-related puns. Each love interest has a different story, so replays don’t get tedious, and the good endings are sweet and funny.

A visual novel about troublesome magic and family secrets. The main character is a healer trying to hide her witch heritage in the midst of a magic-induced pandemic in her small town.
There are three possible love interests: two male and one female. Out of the two guys, one route was nice but I was a little iffy about the second one as the love interest kept associating the protagonist with a relative of hers he loved before. The game actually handles the situation as well as I think it could have, but personally I couldn’t help but feel weird about it.
Aside from that, the plot develops at a nice pace, neither rushing nor dallying, and with interesting reveals. The art is also quite nice. It’s a decent game overall, if not too special or unique.

This slice-of-life visual novel follows a high school student as she romances one of her classmates and tries to pass her exams. There are four possible love interests, mostly having their own separate stories, although with some overlap. Each has both a romance ending and a friendship ending.
I would say the art is average due to some elements clashing, and the plotlines and character backstories are based entirely off of clichés, though the game does manage some cute moments. The writing in itself is also relatively poor. The overall result is a below average game.

【 ♦ 】 An amusing visual novel with a deceptively cliché high school setting, in which the female protagonist is the one taking the lead in her romantic relationships. The usual tropes are gender-inverted in an endearing way.
There’s nice art, no deep plot, and the game is of fairly short length. It features three main love interests and a fourth ‘hidden’ one, all having cute and funny moments of their own. There is a guide available for the endings, though most are easy to achieve intuitively; achieved endings are also recorded in the game alongside event illustrations and background music.

A short game with four endings; it is a clicker-style game with visual novel elements. The story follows the protagonist in figuring out which of three classmates, all named Haru, is her old childhood friend. One must wait for energy to be restored, but it can still be completed fairly quickly; alternatively, it is possible to buy energy with real life currency or watch ads for it.
Overall, a game to consider if one is looking for a way to kill some time and wants to try their luck at solving a small mystery.

One must wait for energy to be restored, but it can still be completed fairly quickly; alternatively, it is possible to buy energy with real life currency or watch ads for it.
It is a game to consider if you are looking for a cute way to kill some time, but otherwise a little too basic.
